✓ The Diameter of the Detonator is 6mm and Length varies from 32mm to 52mm.
(In India, Indian detonators limited company manufactured '0' Numbers delay detonator with diameter 6.5mm and 38mm in length)
✓ The Explosive cartridge in which detonator is fixed is known as priming cartridge.
HOW DETONATOR WORKS :
✓ When these detonators are fired by fuse or Electric circuit, it produces a very high velocity of detonation (VOD) which is capable to produce very strong shattering effect in surrounding of High explosive in which detonator is fixed ( Priming cartridge)
